Mask Update - Church Council met last night and the decision was made to remove the mask requirement for the sanctuary. With the decrease in the number of positives and hospitalizations for our county, the Council felt that this was the right decision. The Council does recommend if you are unvaccinated to wear a mask.  If you will be working with children we ask that you wear a mask as children under the age of 12 are not approved for vaccination yet.

Oktoberfest Sign Up Sheets are in the Narthex.  There is something for everyone.  If you don't want to be in the crowds, we have a kitchen job that would keep you inside. Take a moment to sign up as we cannot to Oktoberfest without you.

Oktoberfest Sign Up Sheets are in the Narthex.  There is something for everyone.  If you don't want to be in the crowds, we have a kitchen job that would keep you inside. If you need a sit down job, Ticket Booths and Kids Area could use your help. The Food Booth is going to need a lot of volunteers.  The Beer Booth is fast paced and is always a fun time. Take a moment to sign up as we cannot to Oktoberfest without you.

Fanfare Donations needed! Kelsey is in need of old newspaper, old magazines, and aluminum foil if anyone has these items laying around.  She plans to use these for her art class.

HAVE YOU SIGNED UP YET? Into the Bible, into the Bible, Dear Christians! (Luther) Fall Faith Formation offerings are now listed!  Sign-up for your opportunities to engage in exploring God's Word and how we live it in our real lives!  Sign-up sheets are in the Narthex online or you can call the Church Office.  SIGN UP NOW!

Ladies Game Day - As so much fun was had on August 10th, we are going to continue the fun on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All ladies are welcome and you can bring a friend.  If you need a ride contact Kay Tucker.

Wednesday Evening Worship Starting on Wednesday, September 15, a midweek worship service with Holy Communion will be offered in the sanctuary. The congregational survey from this summer indicated more supported a midweek evening worship than any other evening. Come and try it out! Gather with your church family in worship - midweek.

Worship Virtually ‚Äď Sundays 10:00 am
Worship Safely In Person ‚Äď Sundays 10:00 am

Update!
The Church Council reviewed the COVID-19 numbers for Galveston and Galveston County and re-issued the requirement of wearing masks in the church buildings. This change reflects that we are in the midst of a severe spike in the pandemic and that our local medical systems are stressed by the current surge. Please be mindful of the most vulnerable in our midst, as children under the age of 12 are not eligible for the vaccine at this time.

HOME Holy Communion Package: If you need home communion supplies as you worship virtually, please contact the Church Office as 409-762-8477 to arrange for your package of wafers.
