"God doesn't need your good works. Your neighbor does!"  - Martin Luther
- The Evangelism Team

Operation Christmas Cookie The Evangelism Team is heading up Operation Christmas Cookie this year.  Operation Christmas Cookie is where deliveries are made to places in our community that are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  This can be a very rewarding endeavor for those who participate.  Prayers, cookie bakers, cookie packagers, and cookie deliverers will all be needed.  The Evangelism team asks that you turn toward thought and prayer on how this small  gesture of kindness can affect those who are required to work on the Holiday that we may take for granted (convenient store and hotel workers).  Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex soon!

Altar Guild Clean Up - November 30th 10am  - Anyone who is interested is welcome to help.

Poinsettias - The sign up sheet for Christmas Poinsettias is in the Narthex.  Poinsettias will be available for pick up following the worship service on December 29th.

Advent Pilgrimage - The annual event will take place on December 8th. We will be the starting church and music will be provided by the Joyful Noise Strings and the JuBELLation Bell Choir.

Christmas Party - The annual party presented by the Men's Club will be Friday, December 6th. Remember to purchase your ticket to attend!

ELCA Good Gifts - With the Thanksgiving and Christmas Season upon us soon, the Mission Team is inviting you to share in our giving to the less fortunate.  We are offering ways to help by your donations for a purchase of 3 chicks $10, a water filter $30 or a goat $50.  You may make a donation to go to your choice or a donation to what the Mission Team purchases. A table will be set up in the Narthex, during the months of November and December to take  donations toward what you would like to give. These gifts will fight hunger and transform lives so we hope you can help us help others.

Share Your Holidays Food Drive - It is time for the annual Share Your Holidays food drive in conjunction with Ball High School and Galveston County Food Bank.  Please bring nonperishable food items to church and place them in the tubs in the narthex or near the parish hall. For your convenience grocery bags will be available at church and a large donation box will be located near the courtyard door. Please share your many blessings with our neighbors in need!
