Fanfare! Lutheran Music Academy is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that seeks to provide high-quality, low-cost music, art and drama education to Galveston youth.

Affectionately nicknamed Fanfare! in 2010, the academy was established in January 2007, by First Lutheran Church of Galveston, Texas. The church wanted to provide arts education to children in a loving, God-honoring environment.

The founding director of Fanfare! was Barbara Wallace, who led the academy until May 2010. Upon her retirement, the academy was placed under the direction of the current Executive Director, June Collins Pulliam.

Since its inception, the academy has grown to a current average enrollment of 85 students. Offered are music lessons: piano, violin, guitar, drums/percussion, ukulele, and voice/choir, as well as art and drama classes.

Fanfare! provides classes for children in grades K-8, as well as for children ages 2 – 4 and for teens.

At the end of each semester, a concert is held next door inside the beautiful Lyceum building!
