Youth Ministry
First Lutheran Church is growing our Youth Ministry! We have Faith Formation for children grades K-5 and Confirmation for students 6-8. First Lutheran Youth (FLY) encompasses all of our K-12 students.
Faith Formation
Weekly Faith Formation classes are offered during the service for students in grades K-5. Following the Children's Message, the youth head upstairs with their teachers, where they engage in approximately thirty minutes of dedicated learning time.
Students in grades K-2 are introduced to the SPARK Story curriculum, which aligns with the Church Lectionary and includes age-appropriate activities that enhance their writing, reading, and creative skills.
Meanwhile, students in grades 3-5 participate in Godly Play lessons that encourage a deeper exploration of their faith.
Youth Events
Each month, the youth have dedicated events planned to foster their religious growth and connection to FLC. Whether that is a bowling day or movie night, the children are encouraged to come learn, play, and assemble in fellowship with their peers.
Church Milestones
First Lutheran wants to be part of your child's journey with Christ. Baptisms, Faith Formation, Confirmation, First Communions, and more! We have programming and education for all ages, all stages, and all are welcome.
