First Lutheran Church does allow non-member weddings, and its staff will assist you in constructing a spiritually-based service to be conducted in its beautiful, neo-gothic sanctuary. The Lutheran Service of Marriage is used at all weddings, and First Lutheran’s pastor will officiate at all services. However, you may select your vows, readings from Scripture, and music (in coordination with the church’s organist).
A flat fee of $1,750 is charged for non-member weddings. A deposit of $100 is payable as soon as you have contacted the church office to reserve your wedding date. The remaining $1,650 is payable thirty (30) days prior to the wedding service. Checks are to be made out to First Lutheran Church and are to be given to the church’s Administrative Assistant, Julie Agee.
